My aunt in Tokyo ordered these and gave them to me (actually while I was sleeping) the day I was flying back to the Philippines. What a nice going-away present, yes? I had shown the universe my wanting of Margiela's version of these Japanese construction workers' footwear but it wasn't as strong as the Incognito's.
I had a difficult time fastening the metal tab closures at first but I found a way to deal with it after three tries. It unlocks very easily though so I get paranoid that they'd just open when I work them. It feels awkward for walking because the soles are not as sturdy. Hello, they're not made for strutting! But I strut anyway! I loves!
They're made in the Philippines!

I also have them in white (made in China)
