Books into Movies

We interpret what we read and during the process, a world is being created. They say Hollywood usually knows how to destroy those worlds by casting bad actors and twisting important elements (Catwoman isn't black). I'm not a hardcore reader but I used to read a lot of comic books when I was a kid. I did try to read Harry Potter but I simply couldn't finish the first chapter. But yes, I've seen all the movies but nothing sticks to memory. X-men is a big part of my childhood that lingered on until Xavier died, the start of the Age of Apocalypse and so on.

There are books that I read and refuse to finish. I think that once I reach the last page, the world I created will stop growing and would enter a perpetual pause and would feel like a friend is dying. There are books that I forget I'm reading so I have to read from the beginning again and again until I get tired of the repetitive scenes in my head that I'd stop reading them even if they were actually good ones. There are books that I completely didn't understand but kept on reading till the pages ran out. There are books that I had read more than twice. Most of my books are unopened and waiting to be digested.

Here are some movies based on books that I'm excited to see:

X-men: First Class
The trailer looks awesome! Please don't let this be like that Wolverine movie!

Norwegian Wood
One of those books that I couldn't finish but I won't watch until I do.

Perks-of-Being-a-Wallflower-Emma-Watson-Logan-Lerman
Perks of being a Wallflower
One of those books that I can read over and over again!
